As in songs, spoken language is made up of patterns, rhythms, melodies, tones, and pitches. It is a natural delivery of sound patterns in response to another’s question tone, interjection tone, or response tone. That is, in essence, communication. As a communicator, one must train oneself to recognize new and unfamiliar sound patterns and be able to reproduce those sounds accurately. It is fundamental to learn how to produce sound.
